1. Make sure the hair is prepped. If your hair is dry or frizzy you may want to apply some of your favourite smoothing balm, or if you hair requires extra volume blow dry it first with a volumising product.

1. Start with a flawless base and always brush up brows. For softer fuller brows, fill them in using an eye shadow matched closest to the brow colour and apply using upward motions with an angle brush. Set with brow gel.

“It’s sexy and bedhead-y in, but in a modern way,” said hairstylist Malcolm Edwards, who was working with L'Oréal Professionnel.

Edwards prepped hair with Tecni.Art Pli, Hot Style Constructor and Play Ball Texture Tonic before styling with tongs. Hair was worn loose save for some sections, which were pinned in place.

James Kaliardos, who was working with L’Oréal Paris, also referenced Tate for the show’s makeup look. The makeup artist opted not to focus on one particular feature. “It’s really about treating the whole face,” he said.

Kaliardos used Studio Secrets Professional Smoothing Resurfacing Primer to prep skin, and eyeshadows in brown and Champagne hues to create a rounded eye shape.

He elongated central lashes with Volume Million Lashes mascara to accentuate peepers’ rounded appearance. He used lip liner and lipstick in rosey hues.

THE SCOOP: Tadashi Shoji's Spring 2011 presentation celebrated the return of the lady with perfect cocktail attire trimmed with metallic accents, lots of muted purples and browns, and elegant overlays of creamy lace. From a beauty perspective, makeup was kept natural to match the soft, sensual, and modern nature of the clothing. Luc Bouchard affirms that Tadashi has "Beautiful, flowing dresses, so I didn't want to compete with that," when creating the makeup for the show. For hair, Rodney Cutler told StyleList that 'The style is sort of like a bun a girl could do herself, but Tadashi wanted a little romantic feel in the front," which resulted in a slightly undone, wavy effect.

GET THE LOOK-MAKEUP: All makeup by MAC Cosmetics. Start with Face Protect SPF 50, then add Bronzer Powder in Give Me Sun, or mix it with a Mineralize Powder over both eyelids and face. Use just a bit of Mac Blush in Dainty or a Cream Blush in So Sweet, So Easy. Next, add Opulash mascara in black on the top lashes only, and finish off with the Lip Pencil in Chicory and the Pro Longwear Lip Creme in Unlimited. Bouchard said that this look is incredibly easy to duplicate and wear, with the bronzer being the key to getting the look.

GET THE LOOK-HAIR: Cutler says this look is epitomized by "a dry, airy texture and the idea that you just threw it up," so it's a simple process to duplicate. First, make a bottom ponytail (you will do two), and take the remaining top section, setting it in diagonal curls at the roots. Make the second ponytail with the leftover curled hair right after you twist and secure the bottom portion. Once you have another ponytail, roll it under into a knot.

SITUATION 6: RETAIL WARFARE

You're at a department store sale digging through racks of clothes along with many other rabid shoppers. You spot a DKNY suede jacket that's to die for. Oh my god! It's a size 10. Your size! Just then a woman on the other side of the rack yanks it out of your hands and takes off with it. You go after her and say firmly, "Excuse me, I was about to buy that jacket." She turns on you like a rabid jackal and says, "Back off, bitch!" You're boiling mad. What do you do?

a. Go to the coffee shop and console yourself with a triple mocha.

Chain is unique material for accessories and perfect participant of almost every DIY project. For example all the presented accessories cost about 80-100$, what is completely unjustified, right? But (!) it looks easy enough to try to repeat.

Being so fatigued not so much of frost as od lack of big amount of variations with overclothes and shoes, I noted the one for fall/winter shoes for myself.
Anyway, old blacelets, couple of chains, your golden hands...voilà!

Suddenly and unexpectedly I fell in love with Sophia Coppola's Marie Antoinette movie. This weekend I watched it for the first time, but definitely not the last. Everything in the movie made the atmosphere in my room. I lighted aromatic candles, turned on my fairy lights around my bed, made the biggest cup ever of tea, stole a piece of milk chocolate - and it was perfect 2 hours of aesthetic pleasure.

Tasty film about noted woman who loved life as it is. Young rich girl who had almost nobody to tell her how to do everything right.

Oh Florence! Fairy with mindbending voice. Moreover, unexpected rythms and variety of genres - I was unable to rerist. It's my non-stop background for several last weeks.

KINGS OF CONVENIENCE

Turn this album on in a bus and you'll feel yourself in a movie of at least in the video. Athmospheric and relaxing melodies combine with soft warm voice. A bit melancholic and therefore is perfect for november.

Chanel's recent Jade Nail Collection has become amazingly popular in a moment, everybody talk about it, everybody use it, everybody are at the height of the fashion, right?
